Ahhh...
I'm back and it feels so nice. What's the saying...you don't know
what you've got till it's gone? Something like that. I am so excited
and energized about blogging again. I am so excited that I toss and
turn with new ideas every night. Yes, believe it or not, I have missed
my little blog THAT MUCH.
So, what's new...
Let's see. I've been working A LOT. For those of you that didn't
know, I got a p/t job working as a sub at the girls' school last fall. I
get to set and determine the amount of hours I want to work AND I get
to see the girlies throughout the day...it's perfect! I love my job and
I've really enjoyed getting to know all the kids and their different
personalities. Okay, maybe not ALL the kids, lol! One of my favorite
things about my job is the funny stories. I get such a kick out of the
funny things the kids say and do. A wonderful reminder of real life.
And to make my list of duties a tad longer, I was asked to be room
mom for Madison's 4th grade class. She was absolutely thrilled of course
and while I was excited too (as this is my first time), I was
simultaneously worried. Being a room mom is a big responsibility, thus
why I haven't volunteered in the past. Organization and careful planning
is key in the roll of a room parent and unfortunately, I do not possess
either one of those skills. We're at the end phase of the school year
now and despite the fact that I have a lot going on and I can't
multi-task to save my life, I think I'm doing an okay job. At least
that's what Mr. S tells me. I think he's just being nice. :)
I'm completely addicted to Facebook. That's right. I joined Facebook
so I could escape the monster that is Myspace, only to realize that
Facebook is the same thing. I've been duped, and now I am (hangs
head) a Facebook addict.
What else?
Some fun stuff that I can't share just yet cuz it's still a secret.
Soon though, I promise.
We're attending a new church that we REALLY love. The best preaching,
the best music, the best kidz program, the best people...Christian City Church is
full of win! We've been attending CCC for a little over 5 months now
and have never left a service without being inspired, challenged,
stretched, pushed, and pulled in our faith. We're feeling very at home
there.
I'm going to be an auntie again...my baby sis is preggers with baby
#2!! So exciting! Congratulations to Stephanie and her fiance, Scott on
the happy news! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a boy this time.
And lastly, a recent photo of the girlas taken at Downtown Disney.
Back soon.
