She is completely obsessed with Webkinz. I don't mind though... they're fun, educational and teaches responsibility. All for that last one especially.

It's a bullet point kinda day/week friends.

• So happy the hubs comes home tonight. Playing single parent is no fun.
• Purchased my very first pair of size 6 jeans yesterday. Still doin' the happy dance.
• Been working on Maddie's school project ALL week long. I'll be so relieved once it's all finished.
• Loved this movie. The script, soundtrack, and performances are all top notch. It was awesome and that's all there is to say, lol!
• My house is actually clean for once.
• Need to go grocery shopping AGAIN. I hate shopping for groceries. Any other type of shopping I love but groceries... yeah, not so much. I'd love to do this.
• Still no scrappage to speak of. Boo.
• Going to Disneyland for mama's day. Keeping fingers crossed it actually happens this time.
• Dreaming of owning one of these.
• And this. I don't want much, do I?

So No We Spy Last Friday

Sincere apologies for missing last week’s We Spy. Ugh. Blasted right hand is injured AGAIN. Not sure how or what exactly - it is very painful - and our new health coverage hasn't kicked in yet. I purchased a brace for now but wrong moves still hurt like hell. I'm actually typing this with one finger like the big dork I am, lol!

Didn't go to church today. Slept in, had my coffee and then it was time to take Ken to the airport. I had to chuckle shortly after driving away... Kaylee says, "who misses uncle Kenny?". I said, "me". Kaylee says, "of course you miss him... he's your honey. And you LOVE your honey, huh?" Funny kid.

Will keep this short as this is about all my poor, little hand can handle. I've got house cleaning to catch up on and laundry to do. Oy, do I have laundry to do. So until later, here are a few pics I promised of the girls' haircuts.

• My girlies couldn't possibly be any cuter sporting their new do's.
• Ken leaves for Chicago on Sunday for a week... please pray for me.

• I don't like being hot. I'd give my left pinky finger for central air conditioning.
• Food struggles. I love it. Plain and simple.
• Scrapbook ideas flying in my brain but nothing on paper.

• I'm sweating in places I shouldn't be.

• Gettin' my baby fix tomorrow when I babysit my friend's brand new foster baby.

• Finally watched the movie, "Phantom Of the Opera" last night. Dude. Gerard Butler... HOT! Disfigured and all.

Thank you for the get-well messages. I started feeling much better Saturday... (with the help of a couple Strawberry's Nirvana smoothies from Jamba).

Good thing too... we had a VERY important surprise party to attend on Sunday. My best girl, Kat's son, Brandon turned 6. Katherine and her hubby treated all the kids to a day at the BMX bike park. Omg, it was mad fun!!! Maddie struggled a bit in the beginning. She fell A LOT. But she's tough and determined that one and it didn't take long before she got the hang of it and was catching air and everything!!!  Fun day.

So, it's FRIDAY (well, almost)!!! That means....

*A fun trip to the big "D" this weekend. We've been trying to go for like a month now but something always comes up. For instance, the weather. I just checked the forecast and it's supposed to be in the upper 80's that day. Eeeeeekkkk!!! Then again, we may play this one by ear.
*Spin class. Yes, I'm actually excited about this believe it or not. It's been a while since I've been and I miss it. It is SUCH a good work-out... I'm usually a big, sweaty mess afterwards. It's great!
*A new do for Kaylee. She wants to go SHORT. I'm thinking a cute lil' bob just below the ears? She's SO excited... and so am I. No more tangly, matted rats nest to comb through!!!
*AND a much needed and overdue date night with the hubs. YAY!!! Not sure yet what we're gonna do but who cares, right? We'll be all ALONE!!! Sooo excited.

Ok, so why is it that while I'm in my car driving to and from school/gym, I think of a million fabulous funny things to blog about and then when I'm actually sitting in front of the computer I'm like... er... ugh... duh? See, in the car - in my mind - I'm hysterical. A regular riot, really. Y'all should meet me there sometime. You'd like me... I'm funny.

Speaking of funny, my friend sent this to me when I was sick and I just had to share with all of you. I don't know 'bout YOUR hubbies but it rings SO true for mine.
